Open Research Area Grant To Fund GEP (Gender Equity Policy) Analysis International Project

December 8th, 2020 it was officially announced that I have been awarded the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) grant to fund the Gender Equity Policies (GEP) Analysis project alongside international collaborators Professor Skadi Loist (Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF-Germany), Professor Doris Ruth Eikhof (University of Glasgow-UK), Professor Elizabeth Prommer (University of Rostock-Germany) and Dr Amanda Coles (Deakin University-Australia). The GEP Analysis project will develop new data-driven approaches for improving gender inequality in the international film industries by combining a range of methods including statistical modelling, network analysis, exploratory data visualisation, stakeholder interviews and policy mapping.

University of Alberta’s Folio publication interviewed me about the project. The interview can be read here.
